Winters are here. So is the season of dry skin and heavy moisturisers. My skin gets very dry and stretchy in winters and body lotions are not enough. So I use body butters and thick creams on my whole body. And I love Body Shop body butters. I already have The Body Shop Strawberry body butter (review here). This time I ordered Satsuma Body butter, Cocoa butter body butter from The Body Shop and Plum vanilla and fig body butter, online. Here I am going to review The Body Shop Satsuma body butter.
The body butter comes in a round plastic tub with a black screw cap. Tub is spill-proof but bulky. Tub packaging, though not hygienic, but still I like it as it ensure that no product is wasted.
The body butter is a thick cream which is light yellowish orangish in colour. It contains Shea butter and Cocoa butter.
Smells like a ripe juicy orange. Aroma is a bit strong and may trouble sensitive noses.
Moisturisation is very good. Makes my skin hydrated and very smooth. Keeps skin moisturised for 24 Hours, as it claims. On application it does not feel heavy and gets absorbed very fast.
I bought it for INR 1095 (200ml).
Overall rating :
9/10. Taking one point for strong fragrance. If you like the fragrance, then it is a must buy. I may repurchase it but I also want to try other variants.
Thanks for reading 😊
